Engr. Rosete Graces OIA-Alumni Forums with EE Graduating Students

Engr. Julius Ceasar V. Rosete, a 1983 BS Electrical Engineering alumnus, visited Adamson University last July 6, 2009 for a courtesy call on University President Fr. Gregg L. Bañaga C.M. and gave a talk to EE graduating students. Engr. Rosete currently works as Director of the Core Services Development-Projects and Technical Support of Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), UAE's largest telecoms company.

In his talk, Engr. Rosete focused on how to make it big in the challenging professional world. He mentioned the industry's demands for globalization, noting that an Adamsonian should not only make it good in the Philippines but be confident when sent to another part of the world as well. He emphasized the value of having a clear vision- knowing what one wants in order to be led where one wants to be.

Lastly, he expressed his trust and confidence in the younger generation of Adamsonians becoming successful in the future, believing in the educational system of the school where he proudly comes from.

The engineer is an active officer of the Alumni Association's UAE Chapter where he heads the Ways and Means Committee. He was also one of the recipients of chapter's Most Outstanding Alumnus Award, which was given to him during the association's second homecoming event last summer.

The session was made possible by the Office for Institutional Advancement under Dr. Lizelle E. Villanueva in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Department under Chairperson Engr. Virgilio Lomotan. Lizelle Villanueva
